A degree-qualified Financial Controller with 30 years experience in a multinational manufacturing company, Ian's most recent role gave him responsibility for Victoria and Tasmania, encompassing Finance, Customer Service, Credit and the implementation of a fully integrated SAP system.

As a former senior AFL umpire, Ian has exceptional people skills and an impressive network across all levels of the community in Victoria.

Before starting Clayton and Shuttleworth, Ian worked with a recruitment firm for a number of years and has had success across all areas of recruiting, he has successfully placed accounting, sales and customer service specialists and he is especially well known in the food industry. Ian has a wide range of clients in manufacturing and shared services and has successfully sourced multiple candidates for government departments.

Bill Shuttleworth - Consultant / Director

Bill comes to executive recruitment with 35 years experience in a manufacturing environment. He is a mechanical engineer and has held various senior manufacturing and general management positions in international companies, such as Rolls Royce, Courtaulds and Repco.

Holding senior positions at operational and general management levels, including directorships of private and public companies, Bill brings a multidimensional platform to executive recruitment, where he has successfully identified and placed superior candidates using advertised and search techniques.

Travelling extensively in these roles, Bill has acquired a broad knowledge of manufacturing practices including productivity enhancement through culture change.

Prior to Clayton and Shuttleworth, Bill spent five years as a recruitment consultant with two companies where he acquired the technical recruitment and search techniques to supplement his extensive manufacturing and  general business experience.

During the recruiting phase of his career Bill has built up a network of clients and candidates in industries as varied as manufacturing engineering, chemicals, building products, food and entertainment, where he has accurately placed candidates in general management, sales, manufacturing and quality assurance roles.

Nick Shuttleworth - IT Recruitment Consultant

Clayton and Shuttleworth's IT Recruitment practice is led by Nick Shuttleworth, a veteran of over twenty years in the industry, encompassing IT infrastructure, services and recruitment.

Nick began his IT career working for a major global vendor (IBM), and subsequently with software development, systems integration and services providers such as Aspect Computing and Paxus.

Nick has extensive experience with clients in industries as diverse as Defence, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Logistics and Transport.

Shane Clayton - Recruitment Consultant

Shane joined Clayton & Shuttleworth in 2004 after working for KPMG and Bell Potter Securities whilst completing a degree in Finance and Management at Queensland and La Trobe Universities.

During the same period Shane successfully completed an AFL Football career of 120 games with stints at Fitzroy, Brisbane and the Kangaroos, the highlight being a member of the Kangaroos 1999 Premiership team.

This experience has enabled Shane to actively recruit many candidates into call centre and customer service positions where teamwork and meeting KPIs form an integral part of success.

Shane has a proactive and mature approach and brings a youthful dimension to the business.

Vicki Landre - Career Transition & Human Resources Consultant

Vicki has more than 20 years experience of "working with people" across many industries and in all facets of human resources management. Qualified in Human Resources Management, Career Counselling and Training and Development, Vicki is able to offer a range of services and support to organisations and individuals and has worked with national and multi-national organisations in Australia and overseas.

Vicki has worked for a number of major organisations in operational and business partnership Human Resources management roles (Williams Adams Pty Ltd, WMC Resources) and has spent many years in Human Resources Consulting (PricewaterhouseCoopers, Opal Consulting), providing a wealth of experience across many business sectors and developing expertise across all facets of Human Resources Management and related disciplines

Carol Halkett - Office Manager

Carol will probably be the first person you see when you visit the offices of Clayton & Shuttleworth in Carlton. She joined the firm in October 2004 after having spent fifteen years working within the medical sector.

Carol brings a strong customer service and accounts payable background into this important role at Clayton & Shuttleworth.
